I have been studying at Anadolu University / Faculty of Fine Arts, before arrival. It was my last year at university that time and I have finished it. Then I was informed about EVS and considered to apply to the programme.

When I have started the project at Netzwerk für Demokratische Kultur e.V., I had allready been informed about what to do here and I have recorded videos and taken photos of the projects and programs of NDK, I have made some illustrations for the doors and painted them, I have recorded „Freudenberg“ video, edited and presented it, I love this project especially. I have also shown movies in NDK Kino. I have attended to the EVS seminars in Weimar (15 days) and Walberberg (7 days). I helped people for renovation of the building, especially at terrace, behind part of the building. Me and Andrea have prepared some flyers and posters for announcement of the NDK programs and given to the shops in Wurzen and hanged or sticked them on columns around. I could meet some new people and made friends. I have visited some cities and places (I am crazy about Dresden and in love with Leipzig). I have attended German course in Leipzig. And I have done a lot of things there now I do not remember now.

After EVS I went to army (Military Obligation) for 5 months, after it I have started searching for a job. I could find one 1 month ago in Advertising Agency as Jr. Art Director. Now, I design graphic elements for advertisements, layouts, illustrations, flash animations for web and edit photographs in the company.

When I think about Wurzen the first thing comes into my mind that is „Freiwilligen-Haus“ and the second is „D5, NDK“ probably it is because of I rarely went out of NDK and I adopted it as my house and the third thing is „Medienwerkstatt“. I think I am a workholic. Those are the first three things which reminds me about my EVS project in Wurzen.
